Birthday Celebrations at School
Birthdays are wonderful days in the lives of our students. We enjoy celebrating with our students. But, there are guidelines. We do allow store bought snacks with the full ingredient list for treats for birthdays. This treat will either be at lunch time or afternoon snack. You must contact the teacher prior to bringing any items to school. We want to avoid duplicating treats on the same day in the event that multiple students in a classroom share the same birthday. We cannot interrupt instructional time to celebrate birthdays. We also cannot substitute treats (i.e., pizza) for school lunch. Store bought cupcakes are preferred over a cake that needs to be cut and plated.
Thank you for your adherence to these guidelines.
